Week 5: Power 25 Update

Today marks the fourth AIA Power 25 update of the season after a busy week of games. With some major upsets and new teams making statements in the middle of the season, the Arizona staff has made adjustments to the AIA Power 25 Rankings. PBR Arizona has been scouting games, and gathering info from coaches as we approached this day so we could guarantee you our best effort while covering the high school season. Each week, the Power 25 rankings will be updated, along with: team notes, and Game of the day coverage. When looking at season records below, we are only posting the regular season AIA records.

CLIMBING

+Campo Verde (7-1) - Working their way up to the #15 spot in the AIA Power 25 is the Campo Verde Coyotes. The Coyotes were added to the top 25 in the first week of rankings updates after their 3-1 record in the first annual PBR First Look tournament. The Coyotes have continued to impress this season as their only loss in the regular season has come from the Casteel Colts in their second game of the season. Since that loss the Coyotes have gone undefeated in their AIA matchups with stand out wins against #11 Horizon and a tough Desert Ridge.
