EMERSON, GA - The Southeast Senior Games on Monday, July 25th will kick-off a seven day period at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA where hundreds of the country’s top uncommitted prospects will put their talents on display. The event will begin with a pro-style workout for all the position players that includes the 60 yard dash, BP with TrackMan ball flight analysis and Blast Motion swing analysis, and a defensive evaluation. Following the showcase, players will split into their teams and play a double header.

Prospects represented their state on Teams Alabama, Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mid-Atlantic, Mississippi/Louisiana, and Tennessee.

Quick Hits

Drew Blalock, 1B, Independence, 2023

Lex Falsone, C/3B, Stewarts Creek, 2023

Zachary Hernandez, RHP, Lincoln County, 2023

Ben Daniel, OF/RHP, Ensworth, 2023
Uncommitted, 6-foot-1, 160-lb two way prospect w/ lean wiry frame and athleticism. Tossed two quick innings mixing his stuff effectively. Attacked the zone with heavy FB sat 84-86 w/ some sink (Avg: 1780 rpm) and late life. CB at 69-70 w/ good shape keeping hitters off balanced and flashed CH as solid third offering. Athletic swing, incorporating his entire frame as he comes thru. Spray line drives to all fields, with power to project.

Nathan Aguilar, SS, Rockvale, 2023
Uncommitted, 5-foot-9, 170-lb compact frame w/ present strength. Consistent runner and sure handed up the middle, but profiles best as 2B/3B as next level. Keeps the swing short w/ some gap pop and consistent hard contact. Just finds a way to pick up base knocks while playing steady defense.

Trace Phillips, SS/RHP, Grace Christian, 2023
Memphis commit, 6-foot-3, 182-lb lanky, lean frame w/ room to add strength. Smooth defender at shortstop, consistent footwork and soft hands w/ good transfers and above average arm strength. Consistent line drive hitter, spraying to all fields w/ flashes of gap pop and power projection. Picked up a pair of knocks, going to all fields. Also been up to 86 on the mound w/ some upside there.
