On June 7, the PBR Texas team hosted the Houston Summer Open at Rice University’s Reckling Park in Houston. The event featured over 40 players and provided our staff with an in-depth look at some of the area's top prospects.

We spent last week making the rounds at showcases like the one in Houston, as well as another in San Antonio, which preceded the PBRT Texas Summer Championships. We’ll be breaking down each of these events in greater detail as the summer marches on, and that’ll start today with a closer look at the Houston Summer Open’s top statistical performers in the more stat traditional categories.
