As Virginia wraps up its spring break, we update our Power 25. Northern Virginia schools had a week of action last week while the rest of the Commonwealth took its break, and now we update our rankings based on that as we look forward to a return to normal action statewide this week.

Liberty Christian remains in the top spot as the Bulldogs continue their undefeated run. Benedictine is nipping at their heals as the defending VISAA I State Champs are also undefeated and picked up thre wins this week, including handing new No. 13 St. Christopher's their first loss of 2018 on Wednesday.

The biggest risers in the new rankings are Mills Godwin, who went 2-1 this week in a road trip to Chesapeake, beating Hickory and Cox and losing to Great Bridge, who slides to No. 12. The Wildcats handled Godwin but also lost to Cox a few days beforehand.

No. 19 Hickory had a rough week, losing to Godwin and the other big mover in the rankings, No. 18 Hanover, who has recovered from an 0-5 start to win their last two games at NHSI in Cary, North Carolina and blow out Hickory. Another big climber in the rankings is No. 14 Turner Ashby, who is still undefeated and as the defending VHSL 3A State Champions, are poised to challenge Abingdon in June.

Three new teams entered the rankings this week, led by No. 16 James Madison. The Warhawks knocked off McLean last week in a tight game and have only lost once this spring, on opening night to current No. 3 Lake Braddock

The second team entering the rankings this week is second-year program Charles Colgan. The Sharks picked up a big Cardinal District win this week against Gar-Field and also have wins over No. 21 Battlefield and Marshall so far this spring.

Re-entering the rankings this week at No. 22 is Collegiate, who picked up two wins this week, including a win over now-No. 25 Highland School on Wednesday.

Enough talk, lets look at the Power 25 for 4/9
