On Saturday Jan 28th we kicked off our Preseason event offerings with the Seattle Preseason ID at EL1 in Puyallup, WA. The Open ID event was for prospects in the 2023-2027 classes. In total, over 60 players came through the facility to showcase themselves.
With batting practice, bullpens, defense and athletic testing, preseason events allow athletes to show off their progress and development from the off-season and present the most up-to-date information on themselves heading into the spring season.
Quick Hits is a recap of some of the top performances that stood out to us on Saturday. It is not a ranking or top prospect list. Additional content including statistical leaders will be coming out as well.

‘23 OF/LHP Cooper McBride (Arlington)
2-way prospect with a L/L profile who did everything well on Saturday. McBride has a classic lefty swing with natural lift and a slightly uphill path. Arm strength up to 83 plus defensive actions play well in the OF. Pitches with rhythm & clean mechanics on the mound. Smooth arm path. 3 pitch mix with FB at 79-81 showing late arm-side run.
‘24 OF Nicholas Barac (Eastside Catholic)
One of the most explosive athletes we’ve seen in the ‘24 class. Barac has tremendous agility/explosion in his lower half. A 6.73 runner this summer, he posted multiple sub-4.0 times in the 30 this weekend with above average RSI (agility) numbers. Defensively he’s made for the OF with long, ranging strides. Offensively there’s present bat speed & the ability to impact the baseball.
‘24 OF Rylan Gullard (Kentridge)
Gullard tested extremely well on his agility with a 2.40 RSI score and posted back to back sub 4.0 times in the 30. The short distance burst is impressive & he’s a powerful runner underway. Offensively he has short, strong levers in his upper half and maintains a compact swing with hand speed and strength at the point of contact
‘24 C/1B Jacob Moyer (North Creek)
Moyer had the most potent bat at the event on Saturday, leading all players in peak EV at 96.7 and avg EV at 87.1. Coming in at 6’3, 240, there’s a lot of power he can get behind the baseball and it translates to above average bat speed, up to 76 mph. Defensively can handle both C and 1B duties.
‘24 RHP Atticus Manning (Kamiak)
Manning recorded the top velo at the workout, reaching 86.4 mph with his peak FB. At 6’3, 210, he has a strong, durable frame with room for development. FB sat 84-85 with easy effort and it's very likely we see more velo out of him this spring. SL has late, tight shape and stood out as his best secondary. Also mixed in CB/CH to repertoire.
‘24 RHP Atticus Manning (@HsKamiak/@Elevate__NW) with the top FB of the event at 86.4 mph. Held 84-85 throughout. Ride/hop on ball into zone. Also shows sharp SL here

FB 81-83 with easy, low effort and a continuous arm path. Controls his frame well down the slope. Very likely to add strength/velo@PBR_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/nKEZ4XVidl
‘24 SS Jacob Freer (@newportbaseball) making everything look easy yesterday. Smooth operator with the glove and the bat.

Very ‘hitterish’ in the box with consistent ability to barrel up the ball @PBR_Uncommitted | @freerjacob2 pic.twitter.com/u1HRbReUck
‘25 SS/RHP Lincoln Oelschlager (Lakeside)
Oelschlager turned in an impressive 2-way performance. Flashing polished defensive actions at SS with loose arm action and a solid, consistent round of BP. On the mound, his body control and arm talent translates naturally. FB was up to 84 with both his CB & SL registering 2500+ rpm.

‘25 SS Carson Hughes (Bonney Lake)
Hughes was one of the defensive standouts on the day. Showcasing impressive natural actions on defense with the ability to flow through a play. Controls a confident glove hand & exchanges into a clean throwing motion with true carry on the ball. Gap to gap type power at the plate with a level, line drive stroke.

‘26 OF/RHP Joshua Mananois (Kentlake)
One of the most dynamic performances we’ve seen from a Frosh. Mananois is a lean, twitchy athlete with exciting physicality. Arm strength and bat speed stand out right away as a position player and he profiles ideally to the OF. On the mound, FB that topped at 84.2 & he showed the makings of a hard, sharp SL. Actions on the mound are advanced & the pure arm talent has the highest of ceilings.
2026 OF/RHP Josh Manaois (@KL_Baseball/@DrivelineBB) with a LOUD performance yesterday. FB T84.2. Sat 82-83. FB/SL shown here. High level arm talent

Ultra athletic frame/build. Chance to be a dynamic OF bat @PBR_Uncommitted | @ShooterHunt | @joshuamanaois22 pic.twitter.com/myLRcGMKhw
‘26 OF/RHP Sam Courtney (Woodville)
Courtney established himself as a name to know in the ‘26 class with his 2-way performance on Saturday. Above average arm strength from the OF with size/strength at the plate from the left-side. On the mound he was 81-83 with an easy delivery and clean arm action out front.
‘26 OF/RHP Sam Courtney (@WHSFalconBB) is a 2-way prospect to know in the class

FB 81-83 presently with more in the tank. Already above average arm strength from the OF to go with a promising LH swing at the plate @PBR_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/uNx4BVeYN6
‘26 INF/RHP Cyrus Cline (Puyallup)
Switch hitting MIF with 2-way potential on the mound as well. Cline controls the barrel well from both sides with a balanced set-up and ‘handsy’ type swing. Defensively has versatility and body control to handle multiple positions. On the mound, his whippy finish out front really projects & he has an athletic decel to finish his delivery.
‘26 INF/RHP Talan Robertson (Rogers)
6’1, 160 with length in the frame and a wide upper half to grow into. Robertson moves well for a taller INF prospect and has arm strength that can stick on the left-side of the INF. At the plate, there’s power potential with his combination of hand speed and slightly uphill path. The arm really works on the mound and his size should allow him to continue to make consistent gains.
‘26 OF/LHP Bradley Dinelt (Curtis)
Dinelt really excelled offensively with his feel for hitting on both sides of the plate. His ability to stay connected and keep hands inside of the ball gives him reliable barrel control. Mature hitability at the plate. Defensively showed clean strides in the OF with loose throwing motion. Arm action works well on the mound and he was up to 78 from the left-side presently.
