Madison Preseason I.D.: Blast Motion Board

On March 14, the PBR Wisconsin team hosted the Madison Preseason I.D., at GRB Academy in Windsor, Wis. This was an open event for all high school classes (2021-24), and gave our staff an ample look at the area's top players as, perennially, the largest event on our winter circuit with over 170 players in attendance.
Last week, in our first post-event piece from this event, we published our biggest takeaways and highlights from Sunday’s showcase within our Quick Hits story, and highlighted more top performances in the Statistical Analysis. We're diving deeper into the data today with swing analysis provided by Blast Motion.

Body Rotation: A swing that has the appropriate relative contributions of body and bat rotations is an efficient and Powerful swing that maintains proper sequencing. An efficient baseball swing is one in which the body creates the initial movements, which is then transferred to the arms and out to the bat, thereby maximizing Bat Speed through this proximal-to-distal kinematic sequencing movement pattern.
