Each week, WIAA coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the PBR Wisconsin Player of the Week honor. On Wednesday, we awarded the seventh POTW of the year, representing Week 8, to C Dominic Kibler (New Berlin West, 2023; Kent State), who exploded for seven hits, which included one double and three home runs, finishing the week with nine RBIs.

Inside of this Diamond Notes piece, we acknowledge the performances that fell short of that POTW honor, but are still deserving of some recognition here.
