Mark Brissey: RHP/3B, (2025) Batesville, AR. Arkansas Commit, 6-foot-2, 210-pound physical strong build. Confident capable during batting practice, Brissey displayed an exit velocity of 96 mph, Ranks #2 with EV at the event. (71.6 mph bat speed average). (21.4 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic balanced stance with a controlled active load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive present, shows an upward rotational swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 83 mph; shows consistent developing feet, firm developing hands, and a quick natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.97. Above average advanced on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a short quick arm action while showing quick above average arm speed. Drop-and-drive up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. He has downhill in line shoulders with a athletic strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic clean finish. Threw his fastball 86-90 mph; has control glove side in the zone and sinking swing and miss action with heavy movement. His 10/4 tight curveball (66-69) shows glove side around the zone control and swing and miss slurvey action. His heavy sharp changeup (76-80) shows arm side in the zone control and sinking late action.

Defense:  (IF) Firm developing hands, consistent developing footwork, quick natural exchange. Solid.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing.

Arm: 83 mph infield velocity. Short quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.

Speed: 7.97 (60-yard).

Pitching: Above average advanced. Drop-and-drive up-tempo delivery, some effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick above average arm speed, short quick arm action. Athletic strong balance point, downhill in line shoulders, lands square, an athletic clean finish.
