Body: 5-11, 200-pounds. Stocky build.
Hit: RHH. Wider set up with base, weight is pushed to the back side with front foot slightly turned in. Bat is held at ear height vertically. Bat path is slightly uphill, creating a loop in his swing. Handles balls best down in the zone, where the barrel works. Would benefit from more top hand involvement.
Power: 88.4 max exit velocity, averaged 74.6 mph. 258’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 66 mph. INF - 65 mph. Delivers from a high 3/4 slot. Ball has 4 seam flight, arm strength needs improvement. Throws were on target from the C position, however were short of the target. Best throw down to 2B was on a block and recover where he was able to use more of his body and momentum towards 2B.
Defense: 2.35-2.6 pop times. Best defensive spot on this day was at the C position. Receiving was his strong point. Blocking and catch/throw needs improvement.
