Collin Harty: SS/OF, (2023) Shepaug Valley School, CT. 6-foot-1, 185-pound athletic lean build. Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 92 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is above average, has a loose uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through his round he found lots of barrels with loud contact. Aggressive approach. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 82 mph. Projectable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 75 mph; shows developing consistent feet, soft developing hands, and a developing clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.97.

Body: 6-foot-1, 185-pound athletic lean build.

Hit: (RHH) Above average. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, loose uphill swing. Aggressive approach. 

Power: 92 mph exit velocity. 

Defense:  (IF) Soft developing hands, developing consistent footwork, developing clean exchange. Projectable.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. 

Arm: 75 mph infield velocity. 82 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 6.97 (60-yard).

6-foot-1, 175-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, with room for added weight gains. A right-handed hitter, at the plate, stance is even at the shoulder width, hands are relaxed and loose at the shoulders with tilt to bat head. The swing is fluid, works with minimal effort, hands are inside the baseball. Small collapse on the backside, could stay taller a bit more. The approach is more middle to pull side, line drives with lift at times. The exit velocity was up to 89 mph, showed hard contact, took a solid batting practice. The sixty-yard dash was clocked at 7.22 long strider. Defensively, moves well to both sides, presents the glove early, fielding out front and comes through the baseball. Showed good footwork around the bag, turns and feeds. The arm action is clean, working from a natural 3/4 slot, clocked at 79 mph. Also threw 79 mph from the outfield, approach is under control, all throws were on target, with downhill flight. Projects out more as an infielder.

Arm Velocity: 79 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.22

6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed hitting infielder and outfielder. He ran a 7.25 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is solid as he moves athletically through the ball, showing soft hands. He threw 76 mph during the infield portion of the defensive workout. In the outfield, he threw 77 mph as the approach is aggressive and athletic. He moves well through the ball. The bat has an exit velocity of  87 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot has a small pick up to it. The hands work free and clean to the baseball. The path is slightly uphill at contact. He showed strong hands during batting practice. 

Exit Velocity- 87 mph

INF Velocity- 76 mph

OF Velocity - 77 mph
