Bardinelli is a 5-foot-8, 125 pound right-handed hitting outfielder/infielder. He hits out of a slightly open set up, with the hands in a good position, just off the back shoulder. The swing begins with a slight toe tap and a pushing back of the hands to get into the launch position. The bat head drops into a flat plane through contact and he finishes well through contact. This resulted in a lot of solid, line drive contact and a max exit velocity of 76 MPH.
Defensively, Bardinelli showed good, athletic footwork in the outfield. He is able to control his body and get himself into a good position to field. The glove was relaxed out in front and in line with the target. His transition to throw was efficient, allowing him to be in a good position to throw. Bardinelli stayed in line with the target through the release and recorded a velocity of 76 MPH.
On the mound, Bardinelli uses a simple, controlled delivery that allows him to get balanced over the rubber. As he begins the transition down the mound, his separation is clean and he creates good direction toward home plate. The arm-swing is long and at a higher slot, giving his fastball that sat 54-61 MPH downward plane. The breaking pitch is still developing depth but showed the ability to have good shape. He maintains good arm-speed with this pitch that came in at 59-60 MPH.
