Luke Beyers: C/RHP, (2024) Leicester, MA. 5-foot-10, 185-pound athletic lean frame. Above average in the box, Beyers had an exit velocity of 92 mph. (75.4 mph bat speed average). (24.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Has developing bat speed, long swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Aggressive pull side approach. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 66 mph during throw downs; showed soft developing hands, a developing clean transfer, and developing consistent feet. Calm setup. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot. 


Luke Beyers: C/RHP, (2024) out of Leicester, MA. is a talented 5-foot-9, 185-pound two-way prospect. In the box, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was an impressive 92 MPH. Beyers sets up in a balanced, athletic stance, with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He then uses a short stride to stack the weight over the back leg before the bat takes a quick, uphill path through his extension. During his round, he showed the ability to drive the ball gap to gap with carry. Behind the plate, he was 64 MPH, with a pop time range of 2.22-2.30 during his throw downs. His initial set up is relaxed. The feet are slightly staggered, the glove is centered within the chest and his head is up. As he transitioned to throw, he showed consistent smooth feet, a clean transfer, and sure hands. setup. Beyers also recorded a time of 7.37 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, Beyers uses a short, ¾ arm slot to produce a fastball (69-70 MPH) (Max spin 1780; Avg 1591) with some late run. His delivery is simple. He uses small movements, gets balanced and creates good direction with home plate. The shoulders are in line, he lands square and finishes over his front side. Beyers also flashed a nice 12/6 curveball (52-53 MPH)(Max spin 1478; Avg 1478) and a changeup (59-60 MPH) with fading action.

He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Athletic In the outfield, has sure hands, a clean exchange, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 62 mph; had developing footwork, sure hands, and a developing exchange. Produced pop times of 2.27. Average flexibility and athletic setup. Used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action.

Defense: (C) 2.27 pop times. Sure hands, developing footwork, developing exchange. Athletic. Athletic setup with average flexibility. (OF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Athletic.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. 

Arm: 62 mph catcher velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot. 



Luke is a 5’8”, 170lb.  pitcher and catcher with an athletic frame. Projects a solid drive through the baseball with a compact stance and quick reaction. Spreads the ball to all fields with efficient contact. Defensively, displays efficient mobility behind the plate. Tends to be off-balanced when delivering the ball to second, but maintains consistency in throws. On the mound, fundamental delivery with a high kick and long arm action. Consistent on both halves of the plate with sharp breaking pitches.
