Beyers sets up in a balanced, athletic stance, with the hands set just off the back shoulder. Luke is a 5’8”, 170lb.  pitcher and catcher with an athletic frame. Projects a solid drive through the baseball with a compact stance and quick reaction. Spreads the ball to all fields with efficient contact. Defensively, displays efficient mobility behind the plate. Tends to be off-balanced when delivering the ball to second, but maintains consistency in throws. On the mound, fundamental delivery with a high kick and long arm action. Consistent on both halves of the plate with sharp breaking pitches.
