Braden Vineyard: RHP/3B, (2023) Bedford High School, MI. 6-foot-4, 190-pound projectable athletic frame. Athletic at the plate, Vineyard's 89 mph exit velocity ranks him 3rd at the event. Starts in an athletic stance with a controlled smooth load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was above average, showed an upward swing plane and level finish. Through his round he found multiple barrels. Opposite field approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 80 mph; had average footwork, a natural packing exchange, and firm hands. When fielding he gathers the ball deep. Clocked a time of 7.82 in the 60-yard dash. Solid projectable on the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed Used easy effort in his delivery. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 81-84 mph; shows hard late action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2060; Avg 1982). Throws a 11/5 curveball (67-69). (Max spin 1846; Avg 1757). He has fading action on his changeup (69-72).
