Throws from a high ¾ slot with long arm action. As an OF, Kaplan displayed active footwork. Shows above average exchange and quick release on throws from the OF. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable balanced delivery. Kaplan worked with a three pix mix. FB peaked at 74 MPH, CB has tight early spin ranging from 62-65 MPH, and CH was 66-67 MPH. Kaplan has a projectable frame and will be a player to follow as he continues to develop.
