Cortinas stands at 6-foot, 187-pounds. Strong and athletic frame. Begins in a modified stretch position on the first base side of the rubber. Works quick with rhythm and tempo, segmented movements. High frontside, creating some uphill shoulder tilt. Stays on top of the ball, downhill angle from a slot which is nearly over-the-top. Elbow stays bent, shorter arm swing. Curveball had 12/6 shape at 69-71 MPH. Changeup had some run and sink to the armside when located down, at 76-77 MPH. Fastball with good angle at 79-80 MPH.
Strong, athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds. Showed off his athleticism with a 6.83 second 60 yard dash. On the mound, starts in a modified stretch on the first base side. Hands stay high throughout his delivery. Works with rhythm and tempo. Uphill shoulder tilt. Feet stay in line down the mound. High leg kick, aggressive second half of his delivery. Strong brace leg. Loose arm, elbow does not lock out. Comes from OTT. Some sink on his FB at 80-82 MPH. Had a bigger breaker with 11/5 shape at 66-68 MPH. Displayed a cutter that had some slider action at the bottom of the zone at 75-76 MPH.
