Devon Niehaus: 3B/RHP, (2022) Lakota West, OH. 6-foot-1, 195-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 92 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was explosive, and displayed a loose level swing plane. Barreled up multiple balls with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 72 mph; had sure hands, developing footwork, and a natural exchange. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a consistent balance point. Knuckle (65-67 mph). Sat with his fastball at 73-77 mph; shows cutting action with tight movement. His 11/5 curveball (66-68) had gradual action.

Began in an open athletic stance with a high quick load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is above average and shows a level swing plane. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 75 mph; has average feet, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Strong balance point. Threw his fastball 75-76 mph; showed running action and arm side control. Shows gradual action on his 11/5 curveball (66-67). His changeup (70-71) has arm side control and fading action.
