2/6/19 Body Type: 6-foot-1, 160-pound athletic, projectable frame. Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Hands show a slight back load with a small leg kick for timing. Hit: Swing shows natural loft and plays to all fields. Natural tools are still developing with strength playing slightly louder than bat speed. Feel over burst, running into quality contact often. Power: 73 mph exit velocity. Line drive with flashes of gap. Offensive Projection: Ball Mover. Run: 7.72 60-yard dash. Field: Mechanically sound/plays under control in the outfield. Ball skills are on par for class. Throw: Arm is top tool. Long, loose arm action. Ball comes out easy with lift. Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.
2/6/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 160 strong, lean build Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Releases out of a ¾ arm slot throwing with a shorter, but smooth arm action. Produces a high leg kick with an even tempo throughout his motion that flows together. Nice intent behind throws.
Fastball: 80-83 mph. Ball releases out of hand easily and gets on hitters quickly. Curveball: 68-69 mph. Quick breaker that showed nice movement from 10-4 starting out at the hip and finishing at the knees.
Changeup: 71-72 mph. Produces glove-side run with some tumble to it. Improving command.
Pitchability: Fastball command is the better of his pitches. Curveball and changeup lived around the zone often and command will improve. Speeds up his delivery when out of the stretch. Size projects on the mound well as he continues to grow over time and increase arm strength and ability.
Role: Varies.
