Flynn Bloch: SS/RHP, (2023) Shaker Heights High School, OH. 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Bloch's best exit velocity was 78 mph. Begins in a wide balanced stance with a quick smooth load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed is raw and shows a level swing plane. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 64 mph; had soft hands, athletic footwork, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were athletic. Clocked a time of 4.03 30 yard dash in the 30-yard dash. On the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses decent effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 73-76 mph; shows arm side control and running action. Had gradual action on his 11/5 curveball (60-64). Showed arm side control and fading action on his changeup (65-68).
