John Tardio: OF/RHP, (2022) St. Ignatius, OH. 6-foot-1, 195-pound. Solid at the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 93 mph. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load. Bat speed is explosive and exhibits a rotational simple swing plane. Found multiple barrels during his round. Line drive approach. Capable from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 79 mph; had consistent hands, a developing exchange, and choppy quick footwork. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.5.
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 175-pound thin and athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Bat tip with a simple load into lower half. Smooth and simple movements that remain loose and athletic until contact.
Hit: Level bat path with above average bat speed. Twitchy swing with a lot of intent.
Power: Line drive guy right now with more to come as he develops and adds size.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup guy.
Field: In the outfield he plays with short, controlled footwork. Maintains a cautious tempo throughout. Hands are soft and ball skills look to be there.
Throw: 3/4 right-hander with developing strength.
