Mason Baumgardner: SS/RHP, (2025) Penn Foster online school, OH. 5-foot-9, 138-pound athletic frame. (54.3 mph bat speed average). (14.8 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide balanced stance with a slow rhythmic load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed was quick efficient, displayed a simple swing plane and balanced finish. Found lots of barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 74 mph; has fluid in control feet, a natural exchange, and consistent hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed athletic slot and a short very quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.47.
Mason Baumgardner: SS/RHP, (2025) Batavia high, OH. 5-foot-5, 130-pound athletic build. At the plate, Baumgardner's best exit velocity was 74 mph. (52.45 mph bat speed average). (16.75 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth quick load, then uses a leg kick stride. Bat speed is average, displays a level swing plane and level finish. Athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 70 mph; had smooth athletic footwork, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. On the mound, showing good arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has an athletic balance point.
