Physical: 5-9, 162 pounds; Slight, athletic build. 8.09 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 78 MPH via Trackman. Centered barrel direction, stays in the middle of the field.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands work through the ball while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 77 MPH. Confident defender with smooth actions.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 77-79 MPH; commands both sides. SL: 68-71 MPH; lateral action. CH: 74 MPH; maintains same plain.
Physical: Compact, muscular 5-foot-8, 145lb frame. 8.17 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Open, athletic stance, as the hands waved the barrel loosely to begin. Utilized a leg-kick stride to initiate the swing through a high intent, rotational path into the hitting zone. Delivered an 81 mph exit velocity via Trackman with natural lift towards the LCF gap. Posted a 44% fly ball rate up into the 296 foot range, more power to come.
Defensively: The primary third baseman featured a wider base with an active lower half that created some range laterally. A soft glove hand funneled inward and allowed for a repeatable 72 mph arm-strength across the diamond (H ¾).
