Offensively: RHH - Open, slightly offset stance as the hands waved in rhythm pre-swing. Utilized a short leg lift stride to initiate a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Generated a consistent pull-side approach during his round while phasing into a stiff, adjustable front side. Recorded a 50% line drive rate (via Trackman) with early connection in the swing and produced a clean 309 foot max distance for doubles power to the LCF gap. Notched a T88 mph bat-exit velocity with some fluidity in the box, more juice coming.
Defensively: The shortstop demonstrated a twitchy first step with burst to his glove-hand side. Covered ground with swift routes and intent to attack on each rep. Fielded cleanly with a soft funnel inward, releasing from a H ¾ slot after a glove-tap in rhythm (79 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Set up off the middle of the rubber using slow, momentum-building pace to drive explosively downward into footstrike. The arm raced from a long arm-circle into slot at H ¾, repeating well in the delivery. The FB landed from 76-77 mph with small arm-side run, mixing a developing 61-63 mph CB (11/5 shape). Added a quality 64-66 mph CH as the out pitch.
