Physical: 5-10, 153 pounds; Average, build. 7.72 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Closed setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a one-handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing choppy feet. Hands are out in front while staying low during transfer. Short take back while using various arm slots. INF - 77 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 74-79 MPH; arm side run. CB: 67-69 MPH; showed depth.
Physical: Athletic, projectable 5-foot-9, 140lb build. 7.81 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Balanced, slightly bent stance, as the barrel operated flat on the shoulder. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through an on-plane, whippy path that slotted early into the hitting zone. Recorded a T76 mph exit velocity with some burst to the pull-side, up to a 264 foot batted ball distance. Top of the order, contact skill set.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured some of the best pace of the day, fielding off his toes and getting rid immediately from a clean transfer and fast H ¾ arm across the dirt (73 mph). Made all the plays with a wider base and active lower-half.
Pitching: RHP. Begins off the middle-left side of the rubber; consistent pace and gets the arm up on time. Held 71-73 mph with ride/run characteristics and added a sweeping 62-65 mph CB for strikes at a 67% clip.
3.10.19 - 5-foot, 90-pound left-handed hitter starts with an open stance and uses a leg-lift to begin his swing. Registered a 60 mph bat-exit velocity and recorded a 9.28 60-yard dash. Showcased soft hands and displayed 57 mph arm-strength across the infield. Right-handed pitcher sat 52-54 mph from a repeatable, high 3/4 delivery. His 52 mph curveball was a spinner that featured 10/4 rotation. The righty is working on feel for a developing changeup that sat 47-48 mph.
