Physical: High-waisted, developing 5-foot-11, 167lb frame. 7.33 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Dead-set open, as the hands operated in rhythm, bouncing off the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride with lower effort bat-speed available through a flat path. Line drive approach that squared the baseball when pitched out over the plate. Adjusted well to different quadrants; worked up to T88 mph bat-exit velocity during a consistent batting practice round.
Defensively: The backstop featured a traditional, narrow stance with plenty of twitch on the transfer. Straight line mechanics that replaced footwork, getting backside planted for a 2.10-2.19 pop time and 71 mph arm-strength. Accurate thrower that found the arm-side of bag during tough conditions.
