Physical: High-waisted, developing 5-foot-9, 145lb frame. 7.10 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Wider, athletic stance, as the hands start tall at a 45 over the head. Utilized a deliberate toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through an accurate, flat path into the hitting zone with some barrel-lag. Worked on the barrel mostly to both gaps, staying inside the ball for a T82 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Line-drive approach, which translated to three hits during gameplay.
Defensively: The outfielder chopped the feet with easier actions, attacking at the touch using an aggressive lower-half to finish reps. Gathered off his right and delivered an 80 mph arm-strength out of a H ¾ slot. Room to continue adding muscle.
Pitching: LHP. Southpaw begins off the glove-side of the mound; hip-coil at the top of the stack and unwinds towards the mitt with a direct arm-stroke. Pitched at 75-77 mph (1977) for strikes, mixing a sweeping mid-60’s CB and deadened 70-73 mph CH, up to 10 inch HM.
