Gonzales is fresh off a hand injury and still working his way back behind the dish as well as in the box. The day we made it out was his first day back and the timing was still a tick off in the box but the future Red Raider will surely be a presence somewhere in the middle of the order for Smithson. Gonzalez will likely share the catching roles with Wells but both are outstanding options for any high school coach to have.
