Body: 5-7, 168-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Physically showing strength now.
Hit: RHH. Quick, abbreviated load with slight weight shift into back leg. Short, quick stride, lands in decent position to hit. Needs to slow load into back leg, slow down stride slightly, increase stride distance landing with some weight into back leg. Back foot movement varies, occasionally gets stuck, rotates at times, shows linear movement also. Needs consistency to back foot, whichever move he feels comfortable with, rotational or linear move. Hips work, can improve. Bat/hand present. Hands/barrel in good launch position, dead stop approach…would like to see some hand trigger added. Good path with hands/barrel into zone. Dead pull approach, developing location recognition and all field approach will help future avg. 72.1 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 78.3 mph. 349' max distance. Bat/hand speed present with plenty of opportunities for improvement. Bat/power can exceed with changes. All field approach will help improve contact consistency.
Arm: RH. INF-79 mph. Arm works, throws show some carry. Can improve arm strength with long toss program.
Defense: Good feet with quickness present. Good 1st step, feet get body into position to field. Hands work fielding. Body control/agility present. Plays out of control at times. Can be plus defender in middle of field on the dirt.
ATH: 6.77 runner in the 60. Plus runner with quickness to start, should get his share of stolen bases. 34.60 max vertical.
