An athletic small twitchy MIF that can play all 3 INF spots to be an efficient UTL player at the JC level. Starts at 2B for one of the powerhouse programs In the state. I have been associated with Luke since he was 10-11 yrs old, as he hit with me at a young age in my backyard cage. A fringe to avg runner that gives a hard 90 down the line in games and can play a quality 2B. With educated feet and working from the ground up, Luke shows soft quick hands and has a live active lower 1/2. The arm plays fringe across the diamond with accurate throws in a workout setting from SS. The bat has a solid swing pattern with near avg bat speed and a LD approach. Does need to hinge his back hip, so as to be able to stay back on off speed stuff. Barreled balls on a line and showed well at the Preseason All-State event. One that JC coaches need to follow over the next year and a 1/2.
