Super 60 Spotlight: Ryan Daniels

On Sunday, Feb. 6, Prep Baseball Report will host the 20th edition of its prestigious, flagship event: the Super 60 Pro Showcase. Since the event’s inception in 2003, more than 300 players have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 25 first-round picks and 26 second-rounders.

We've started our march toward the Super 60 by highlighting the prospects set to join us, shining a light on their impressive player profiles that they've groomed through their high school careers, leading them to this point, vying for the attention of the pro scouting community.

6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting infielder. He ran a 6.99 sixty on the laser at the event. The approach is solid in the infield, the feet remain active through the fielding process. The arm is clean, throwing 85 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The bat has a chance to be special, exit velocity of 96 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is flat to slightly uphill through contact with the baseball. The hands work freely and he swings an aggressive bat. 

Exit Velocity- 96 mph

INF Velocity-85 mph
