KJ McGill
From 2/1/26: LHP KJ McGill reaffirmed his status as a must-see arm this spring during Sunday’s trip to Wichita. Lean and highly projectable at 6-foot-2, 156 pounds with plenty of room still to add on, McGill looks poised to anchor a Bishop Carroll staff that projects as one of the top groups in the Wichita area. The left-hander showed feel for his entire arsenal, filling up the zone with a well-rounded mix that included two distinct breaking balls and a splitter with swing-and-miss potential. His fastball played at 84–87 mph (T88 mph), featuring an average of -16.4 inches of arm-side run that should cause fits for hitters on both sides of the plate. There is no denying the lefty's upside and with his ease of operation, don’t be surprised if the velocity ticks up again this spring.
