The RHH yields strong bat-to-ball skills backed by a balanced load in a quick trigger with present hand/bat speed and ability to hit the ball to all-fields. Delivers a well-leveraged barrel through the zone with ability to manipulate to produce consistent solid contact. Superb instincts on the base-paths is evident as Leathers wreaked havoc with a plethora of swiped bags throughout the tournament. The athleticism for Leathers shines up-the-middle at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds as he displays quick lateral actions, excellent routes to the ball, and present arm strength. Leathers epitomizes the term “gamer” and this is the type of profile that will provide immense success right away at the next level.
