Positional Profile: OF
Body: 6-2, 195-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Slightly open stance, hands start out in front then brought back at ear level. Violent swing with good ability to lift ball, able to hit for power to all parts of the field. 68.8 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 89.8 mph. 363' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-89 mph. Plus arm whip with consistent throws on a line.
Defense: Shorter fast twitch movements.
ATH: 1.72 and 4.02 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Uncommitted. The athletic 6-foot-2, 195-pound OF continues to show why he’s the number 1 player in the 2027 class. Catching a loud barrel with a smooth LH swing with fluid hands through the zone and excellent leverage throughout. Highlighting an innate feel for the barrel with advanced bat-speed to match.

The #1 players in the Georgia class of 2027 and ranked #6 nationally gained some valuable experience this weekend. He saw some big time arms, one being Missouri commit DeShawn Morgan was upper 80’s to low 90’s. He had some great swings on him, and earned a walk. Later in the game he forced a 3-2 count on an upper 80’s fastball, and won the AB with a single to left, then stole 2nd a couple pitches later. Dawson knows he can compete with these guys, and the confidence shows on the field. He is aggressive on the base paths, and puts together quality at bats. The more AB’s he gets at the varsity level the better he is going to get it.

Hit: RHH. Wider and open stance. Small leg lift with some drift, loud barrels to the middle parts of the field. Uphill path through contact. 70.9 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 84.5 mph. 339' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-86 mph. Longer arm action.
Defense: Later glove presentation, clean when fielding.
ATH: 1.71 and 3.92 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
