OF/SS Adriyen Joe (Mesquite, 2025)
6-foot 140 pounds. Good frame, high waist. Room for added strength and maturity. (Running) 7.37 runner in the 60 yard. Long limbs, easy runner, should see speed increase. (Offense) RH. Max EV 88. Max Dist 279. Athletic and loose set up in the box. Base is outside of shoulder width, knocked kneed stance with a small up and down stride direct to pitcher. Bat is rested on the shoulder. Separation with hands is created during load, length created early during load. Bat path is flat. Struggles to get extension through the baseball. Eliminating early length should create a flatter path with more extension. (Defense) IF velo 68. Projectable body for SS position. Foot work/reading hops has room for improvement. Tends to put himself in tough positions which puts more stress on the ability with his glove. Showed he can handle tough hops, as footwork and body positioning increases the fluidity with the glove will come. Throws from a HTQ slot, room for added arm strength. Plays best from 2B as of now. With added strength and athleticism left side of the infield could be an option.
