Alex Etergino: 2B/OF, (2025) New Canaan, CT. 5-foot-8, 145-pound athletic solid frame. Solid in the box, Etergino recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. (65.4 mph bat speed average). (17.6 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic balanced stance with a handsy active load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is quick, displays a short an inside-out swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap line drive approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was registered at 68 mph; showed a twitchy exchange, athletic smooth feet, and soft hands. Raw recorded an outfield position velocity of 73 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and quick feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot and a longer arm action. Recorded a time of 7.2 in the 60-yard dash. Looks to be able to defend in the infield.
