Arlen Peyman: OF/RHP, (2027) East catholic, CT. 6-foot, 210-pound athletic strong frame. Above average projectable at the plate, Peyman's 96 mph exit velocity ranks him 1st at the event. Begins in a wide balanced stance with a tight compact load, then uses a short controlled stride. Had a short simple swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive pull side approach. Projectable in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 75 mph; has soft hands, developing quick feet, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short quick arm action with an-over-the-top slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.47 at the event. Solid on the mound, using a short arm action he showed good arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Stretch only up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with downhill in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 71-74 mph; showed sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1752; Avg 1715). Threw a 1/7 curveball (50-51) with early action and glove side control. (Max spin 1713; Avg 1651). Threw a 2/8 slider (61-63) that showed down in the zone command and gradual action. (Max spin 1814; Avg 1747). Major power poteial, advance feel at the plate for a young age.
