6/19/19

6-foot-03, 165-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 77-78 mph, minimal arm side action to the pitch. The spin pitch is 65-66 mph, big in shape as it needs added fastball hand speed to it. The changeup is 71-72 mph, needs a spin fix. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The posture of the top half has a back arch to it as he separates his hands. The direction of the front shoulder comes offline prior to the stride foot getting down. The frame is long and lanky, should fill out as he matures in age.

7/26/17

6-foot-2, 155-pound, thin, lengthy athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are squared off, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting infielder/right-handed pitcher, the top tool is his ability to pound the zone from the mound. At plate, the stance is wider than shoulder width, feet are even, hands are loose at shoulder height, bat has some tilt to it. For timing uses a no stride approach, swing is down to flat through the zone, rolls the hands early and finishes below shoulder height. The approach is more to the pull side, made hard contact in batting practice, with a tee exit velocity of 75 mph and ran a 4.81 from home to first. Defensively, feet and hands work well together moves well to both sides especially to the glove side. The hands are soft, arm action is clean on the backside, works out of a higher slot, clocked at 71 mph showed to have good touch on throws. Started the double play in the hole with ease. Off the mound, has a simple repeatable delivery. The hands start high and stay high throughout, wants to drift at times, more in fastball if he can stay back. The fastball was clocked at 73-78 mph, had some movement to the arm side. The changeup is probably his best pitch, clocked at 66-68 mph has proper fade to the armside. The curveball has depth and clocked at 60-62 mph, needs to be thrown harder. Time will tell which way he will go, like the long lengthy frame off the mound. Strength is a must for development.

Home-First: 4.1
Exit Velocity: 75 MPH
Arm Velocity: 70 MPH
