6/19/19

5-foot-10, 155-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Ran a 7.04 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 73 mph from the outfield to the plate. The approach is online and athletic. Profiles as a corner outfielder. The glove is solid and he has a feel for getting off the ball. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot gains ground to the ball as it approaches. The swing path is simple, flat and clean to contact.

2/23/19

5-foot-11, 155-pound, long, lean athletic frame, longer neck, rounded shoulders, has plenty of room to fill out. A toolsy type athlete, hits from the right side. Top tool are his legs, can really run, long strider, clocked at 4.20 down the line. At the plate, feet are even, hands are relaxed and loose. For timing uses a small leg kick, gets weight loaded on the back side, hands stay back, is behind the baseball on contact. The swing is short to contact, level in the zone, gets through it, and finishes with one hand. The tee exit velocity was at 87 mph, hard contact in batting practice, solid potential to hit at some point. Defensively, footwork and routes are advanced and quick, fields out front steps through hard, has an athletic glide to him. The arm works from a higher slot, shows average strength, arm clocked at 77 mph. Big time sleeper for me, center or left-fielder, is super athletic.
