Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Had quick bat speed, simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 71 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 71 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Breydon Evans: OF/SS, (2027) Bloomfield, CT. 5-foot-6, 141-pound athletic proportional frame. Raw projectable in the box, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 80 mph. (66.1 mph bat speed average). (19.2 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic open stance with a handsy load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was quick, used a short upward swing plane and a front foot finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Above average recorded an outfield position velocity of 73 mph; shows quick feet, a twitchy exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball deep, movements laterally were average. Used a ¾ slot and a short arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a time of 7.06 in the 60-yard dash. Raw on the mound, showed some arm speed with a loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Stretch only slow-tempo type pitcher who shows easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands soft with upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 67-70 mph; shows both sides of the plate command with straight movement. (Max spin 1876; Avg 1639). His changeup (58-60) shows fading action and arm side control. His slider (53-56) shows glove side command and slight action. (Max spin 1488; Avg 1468).
