6-foot, 190-pound, physical athletic frame, broad shoulders, wider back. A right-handed hitting catcher. Showed very well in box, swung the bat well. The stance is even at shoulder width, hands are quiet, set above the shoulder, with an extended back elbow. The lower half is under control, gaining a good amount of distance, with backside drive. The swing is level through the zone, hands are inside the baseball and finishes above the shoulders with two hands. The approach is more middle to opposite, showing good juice to right-center, creates backspin. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph, ran a 7.91 sixty-yard dash. Behind the plate, threw 63 mph down to second and had a pop time of 2.16-2.38. The feet are quick in transfer, could length stride a tick, glove side pulls off, needs to stay inline a tick longer. The arm action is clean, with whip like action. Solid target to throw to, hands are strong on the catch, gets around the baseball. A raw athlete, continued refinement of mechanics and game experience is needed, ceiling is high.
