Christian Pelletier: SS/RHP, (2027) Westhill, CT. 5-foot-4, 97-pound athletic slim frame. Projectable in the box, Pelletier's best exit velocity was 60 mph. (49.6 mph bat speed average). (13.8 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a short leg kick. Bat speed is developing, displays a short simple swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Up the middle line drive approach. Projectable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 58 mph; shows athletic feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and a short loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 9.32. Projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a short clean arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Stretch only tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. He has in line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 54-56 mph. shows both sides of the plate command. (Max spin 1660; Avg 1607). Threw a 1/7 curveball (53-54) that showed glove side control and slurvey action.
