Christopher Yannella: LHP/OF, (2025) Foran, CT. 5-foot-5, 130-pound athletic slim frame. Raw in the box, Yannella's best exit velocity was 75 mph. (67.1 mph bat speed average). (21.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a wrapping load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was average, displayed a loose level swing plane and high finish. Had loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 72 mph; shows soft hands, a clean exchange, and fluid feet. Fielded the ball to the side with quick movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a short quick arm action. Recorded a time of 7.99 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, using a loose arm action he showed quick arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Stretch only feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has a strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 68-70 mph; shows sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 2144; Avg 2031). Threw his 11/5 curveball (61-62) with glove side command and slurvey action. (Max spin 2059; Avg 1941). His changeup (67-69) has down in the zone command and fading action.
