6-foot-1, 185 pound, strong physical frame, big bodied catcher, already fill, strength throughout. A right-handed hitter, taller, even stance, loose hands at the shoulders. The lower half is under control, small pick up and put down. The swing is level through the zone, more of a pull approach. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph, barrel has some life and whip out front. More bat speed in there over time. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.10-2.18, throws were on the bag, arm was clocked at 71 mph. The feet are clean and quick, gains ground in transfer, gets rid of the baseball. The hands are soft on the catch, showed an understanding of catching, seemed to really like his craft. Just starting to tap into his potential.
