Cole Wittneben: RHP/1B, (2026) Southington, CT. 6-foot-1, 137-pound projectable athletic frame. (62.1 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in an open stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed a loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He produced loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap approach. Smooth while in the infield, made throws up to 72 mph; showed sure hands, consistent feet, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had clean slot and a loose arm action with occasional accuracy to the base. Recorded a 60 time of 7.72 at the event. Capable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used an over-the-top arm angle with a very quick arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who shows easy effort. Tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands closed with recoil finish. (Max spin 2058; Avg 1727).
