Dashel O'Dell: OF/RHP, (2025) Suffield High School, CT. 6-foot-1, 205-pound athletic strong build. Above average in the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. (68.7 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide balanced stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled small leg kick. Has a short upward swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. He found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Up the middle aggressive approach. Above average from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 80 mph; showed athletic quick feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front to the side, movements laterally were average. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a loose quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Projectable above average on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose clean arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort.
