Raw projectable during batting practice, the switch hitter displayed an exit velocity of 79 mph, Top 2 velo of the day. (62.1 mph bat speed average). (16.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide balanced stance with a tight compact load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed was above average, used a short upward swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with loud contact. Aggressive up the middle approach. While catching, he made throws to second at velocities up to 64 mph; had developing footwork, soft hands, and a quick clean transfer. Calm setup with some flexibility. Had a high ¾ slot and a short arm action with consistent accuracy to the base.
