6-foot, 150-pound, strong physically athletic frame. Put together well, shoulders are squared, strength throughout. A right-handed hitting catcher, showed well on both sides of the field. Behind the plate, had a pop time 2.03-2.12 and arm was clocked 74 mph, quick and loose. The setup is athletic behind the plate, moves well, feet are quick in the transfer, gaining ground. The glove side could be firmer, going straight across the chest, will help with pop time. Received well in bullpen work, low to ground, pitchers looked to be comfortable throwing to him. Offensively, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width, weight loaded up on the back side. For timing uses a controlled leg kick, gains ground with stride foot. The swing is level through the zone, gets through the baseball, finishes the swing with two hands at the shoulders. The approach is more middle to pull, has enough pop to beat the outfielders, tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph with more in there. Runs well, ran a 4.35 down the line at first. Super athletic, game should take off at some point, get out and see him.
