Notes

7/25/20

6-foot-6, 210 pound with an extra large frame, big body, showing room for added weight gains. At the plate he is a pull side hitter with big pop. He topped out at 97.0 mph for his exit velocity, driving the baseball with authority to the pull side gap.  The swing is level through the zone, loft to the swing, gets heavy with the top hand, creating topspin at times. From 1st base,  he was quick, active and his feet worked well with his hands. The arm action is clean and fluid, clocked at 77 mph, with easy carry across the diamond.  Off the mound, tall on the backside, direction is inline, the front glove, having pull down, could track tick longer.  The fastball was clocked at  76-78 mph, with arm side run to it. His breaker has top to bottom break and showed a 12/6 drop sitting 62-63 mph. Showed feel for the changeup, more of a circle change, downward, fade action to it,  clocked at 73 mph. The bat has potential to hit with power at the next level.

Exit Velocity: 97 mph

Arm Velocity:  77 mph

7/15/20

6-foot-6, 210-pound, large, wide athletic frame, already filling out, chance to be very physical at some point. A right-handed hitter, only hit at this event, tweaked a hamstring runner the sixty-yard dash. At the plate, taller stance, even feet at shoulder width. The hands are loose at the shoulder height, lower half is under control, small pick up, gains ground. The swing is fluid, working with easy effort, level to up path, with a high one-handed finish. The approach is more middle to pull, shows big time power to pull side, had exit velocity 92 mph. Good looking power hitter.

Exit Velocity: 92 mph
