2/19/18

5-foot-11, 175-pound, average athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded is well proportioned, with strength throughout,  has room to fill out and add weight on. A left-handed pitcher, who pounds the zone with three pitches. The delivery is repeatable, gets to a good gather, weight stays over the rubber, separation is on time, lead arm is strong and stays in line. The stride foot has length to it, and is inline with target on foot strike. The arm action has average length to it, works out of a ¾ slot, is free and easy and gets extension on release of the baseball. Locating the baseball is well above average, pounds it to both sides, the fastball was clocked at 74-77 mph, should continue to climb. The change up is probably his best pitch, thrown for strikes with natural arm side sink and fade, clocked at 66-67 mph. Breaking ball is thrown a bit slower at 59-62 mph, thrown for strikes but tends to slow down on it. The backside leg could come through and finish more, could help with velocity. Offensively, hits from the left side, hands are held high above the shoulders, uses a small leg kick is balanced throughout, shoots the baseball to all fields. Presently has gap power, approach is advanced and can maneuver the barrel to the baseball. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph and ran a 4.06 30 yard- dash. A two way player time will tell which was he goes, above average feel for the game.

30-Yard Dash- 4.06

Tee Exit- 80 MPH

7/27/16
5-foot-9, 155-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, back is wide, has plenty of room to fill out. A smooth left-handed hitter, has a gap to gap approach, keeps his hands inside the ball well. The stance is simple, feet are inline, hands are just at shoulder height, gets them back into a good position, stride is under control and gains ground with it. The tee exit velocity was 74 mph and ran a 4.62 from home to first. In game performance was good, had quality at bats and swings. Defensively, showed good routes and reads in the outfield, footwork is good, steps through hard and the arm is clean. The arm was clocked at 76 mph, throws were on the bag. On the mound, the delivery is smooth, fastball was 71-73 mph, was down in the zone. The breaking ball was thrown in the mid 60’s. The changeup was thrown for strikes, used good arm speed, was clocked at 65-66 mph, an above average pitch. The arm works and has pitch ability to him. Projects for me as more of a position guy at this point, has a chance to really hit.
