5-foot-10, 250-pound, large thick athletic frame, hands and wrist are strong. A right-handed hitter, who shows to have above average bat speed and juice in his hands. The stance is wide, feet are even, with more weight on the back side. The hands are loose and work freely through the zone, the swing is level to up with a one handed finish. The head tends to jerk and has some movement, needs to slow it down just a bit. The lower half is heavy on the front foot and the backside, could be under control slightly more. The tee exit velocity was 89 mph, has serious pop in his hands. During game, had one good at bat, driving a ball to centerfield. Defensively, at first shows average feet around the back and on drop steps in starting double play. The arm action is short and clean, was clocked at71 mph across the diamond. Potential to hit and hit with power, needs to get in better shape, has all the makings of a legitimate power hitter, good follow.
