Jack Lagosh: 3B/1B, (2025) Xavier, CT. 6-foot-2, 185-pound. (73.8 mph bat speed average). (24.9 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, has a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 78 mph; had consistent footwork, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. (Max spin ; Avg ).

6-foot-1, 170-pound, solid athletic frame, longer limbs, durable pitchers frame. A two-way player, at the plate, taller, shorter, even stance. The hands are relaxed at the shoulders, bat starting in more of a flat setup, The swing is flat through the zone, more of a line drive approach, from the middle to pull side. The exit velocity was clocked at 94 mph, the baseball jumps off the bat, took a solid batting practice. Collected a double in game play, had quality at bats, rolls his hands late, stays through it. Defensively, good feet around the bag, glove is soft and has above average feel. The arm action is long and loose, clocked at 76 mph across the diamond. Off the mound, simple repeatable delivery, mixed in a quarter kick and slide step has an understanding of controlling the running game. The direction is inline, on time and pounds the zone. The arm action is long and loose and works with minimal effort. The fastball was clocked at 75 mph, with a ton more in there. The breaking ball shows proper spin and shape clocked at 66 mph. Mixed in a changeup that had arm side fade and action. Good looking young arm, need to follow.
